1. What types of estimates do you provide?
We are specialists in residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We provide estimating services for new construction, remodeling, renovation, skyscrapers, multifamily, retail, warehouses, and infrastructure like highways and bridges. We serve General Contractors, Subcontractors, Architects, Developers, and Lenders.
2. Which trades do you cover?
Zephyr Estimating LLC deals with all CSI divisions. Our expertise includes Civil, Structural, Drywall, Framing, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Roofing, Flooring, and specialized trades like Fire Suppression and Sitework.
3. What is your standard turnaround or delivery time?
For most projects, our standard delivery is between 24 to 48 hours (1-2 business days). For highly complex or very large-scale projects, it may take longer, but we will always provide an estimated timeframe before starting.
4. How do you determine the pricing for a project?
We use industry-standard databases like RSMeans and Craftsman National Construction Estimator. Our pricing is zip-code based, which accounts for local inflation, material shortages, and regional labor rates to ensure your bid is competitive.
5. How much do your services cost?
Our charges depend on the scope and complexity of the project.
Small Projects: Generally range between $100–$400.
Mid-sized Projects: Generally range between $450–$750.
Large Projects: $1,000+. We also offer negotiable quotes and monthly estimation packages that can save you up to 60% compared to hiring an in-house estimator.
6. Do you charge an hourly rate?
No, we typically charge on a per-project basis. This “On-Demand” model is more affordable for contractors who only bid a few times a month and want to avoid the overhead of a full-time employee.
7. What if my project drawings are not complete?
That is not a problem. We work with architects and developers during the early design stages. If you have preliminary drawings or even just specifications, our engineers can provide a preliminary estimate for procurement or design purposes.
8. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payments through QuickBooks Invoice, PayPal, and all major Credit/Debit Cards and Direct Bank Transfers. We prioritize your financial security and use encrypted platforms for all transactions.
9. Will you provide my estimate to other clients?
Never. We follow strict business ethics. Your project information, drawings, and bid details are treated as strictly confidential and are never shared or breached.
10. Do you offer any guarantees?
Our estimates are professional guidelines designed to help you with final pricing. While we strive for 100% accuracy, we do not offer financial guarantees or insurance because final market prices can fluctuate. However, we are always available to review, clarify, and make adjustments to your report as needed.
